The Houston Association of Black Psychologists (HABPSI)
was founded in 1976 by a group of pioneers. They united to actively address the serous problems facing Black psychologists
and the larger Black community. The Houston Association of Black Psychologists offers community participants an
information and referral service network to facilitate connecting with Black mental health practitioners. The Houston
Association of Black Psychologists is dedicated to enhancing the psychological well-being of Black people and other
ethnic minorities in America.
